Apollo 11: 13 minutes to the moon | INCOSE Midwest Gateway Chapter @ The Venture Café Gathering (Hattie North) | St. Louis | Missouri | United States

20 July 2019 marks the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. How did they do it? Kirk Kittell, Boeing engineer and president of the St. Louis chapter of the systems engineering professional society INCOSE, will walk through the timeline of the Apollo 11 landing–the 13 minutes that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin traveled from lunar orbit to lunar surface–explaining how people and technology worked together to land on the moon. It’s rocket science, not magic, and you can celebrate the milestone simply by learning how it works.
