Classroom Reboot? Start with ART | COCA | EdHub STL @ Venture Cafe @ Venture Cafe Thursday Gathering (Havana) | St. Louis | Missouri | United States

At COCA, we believe that art is a tool to connect people, solve problems, and build creative capacity. This is true across our world, including in schools and classrooms. In this workshop, COCAedu (our school-based division) will lead educators through a process of identifying an issue they wish to improve in their teaching space, learn about arts and arts integration, and design a feasible and immediate solution for their issue that’s rooted in the arts. COCA’s Director of Education and 2018 EdHubSTL Fellow, Abby Crawford, will be joined by Arts Integration Specialist Janelle Velten, Education Fellow Lauren Younge, and COCA Teaching Artist Alicia Like.
