Here’s How You can Support Youth Entrepreneurs & Keep the Venture Café Community Healthy & Safe

We all know that becoming an entrepreneur requires tremendous risk. But, risk isn’t blind. You don’t just take out loan or refi your home just because you think you have a good idea. When jumping into a high risk, high reward scenarios, smart entrepreneurs are taking calculated risk and are constantly testing ideas against target users/customers to de-risk themselves as much as possible. This Thursday we’re asking our community to help de-risk in 2 ways:

1) The fun one: Support Youth Entrepreneurs
At 4pm and 7pm we have several youth entrepreneurs sharing their ideas and they want your feedback. Come hear from Saint Louis Science Center Teen Entrepreneurs who are presenting pitches and from 12 year old Mikey who is launching his own venture.

2) The less fun one: Keep the Venture Café Community Healthy & Safe
With growing concerns for COVID-19 (“coronavirus”), we’re asking for your cooperation to ensure the Venture Café community remains healthy and safe. Here a some ways you can help:

  • Do NOT attend our events if you are sick or have been exposed to illness
  • Review our important Health Alert for more details on precautionary health and safety measures that we are asking our community to follow

All the Venture Cafés across the globe, including St. Louis, are closely monitoring the circumstances relative to COVID-19 and we will keep our community updated should anything change related to Thursdays or our other programs and events.

We look forward to seeing you Thursday, but please stay home if you’re not well. Don’t take risks that aren’t necessary.

See you Thursday!
