Wow. Nearly 300 people attended our inaugural gathering for The Venture Café. As promised, we’re doing it again this week, and we have another great lineup that includes thinking like an artist, learning from an entrepreneur, testing hunches, understanding funding, and discovering opportunities for growth. Beyond that there are all of you – the awesome members of the innovation community. You all get to do more colliding!

In an effort to continuously improve, we are making some changes as a direct result of feedback from attendees.

  • Signage: There will be better signage around the space so you can easily know what, where and when.
  • Seating: As the space is being built out, there will be new elements added each week. This week you’ll notice more intimate seating in the café area as well as new spots down the main corridor that are perfect for deeper conversations. Oh, if you think the space looks cool, you have the design team at CIC to thank for that.
  • Sustenance: Venture Café provides the beverage for 300 thirsty thinkers each week and from time-to-time our speakers/contributors bring in some food to share. We are more than willing to talk to anyone interested in food sponsorship. We’ll feed your ego as you help people feed their faces. Let’s talk.

We hope to make improvement each week based on feedback from attendees. Keep telling us how we can create an awesome environment.
