Use the Last Thursday Gathering of the Year to Jumpstart 2020

You’ve had an idea in your head forever (or several ideas in a Google Doc). If that’s true for you, then I have a recommendation of how you can navigate this week’s Thursday Gathering.

  1. Checkout what resources are available in the startup community at the panel, Where Do Startups Start?
  2. Checkout the Balsa Foundation or Legal Office Hours for specific questions
  3. Stop by the Venture School info table to see if it’s the right fit for you to launch your idea
  4. Get feedback and practice pitching your idea at the Open Mic Pitch Nite (it’s a fun, low pressure environment!)

The biggest hurdle to launching a project or company, is committing to doing it. Don’t let yourself get in the way! Take the first step and have fun doing it.
